Bangalore, Apr 14 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today. The rainfall occurred at isolated places over North Interior Karnataka and dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Hubli recorded 1 cm rainfall.

Maximum temperatures rose at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at many places over South Interior Karnataka and at a few places over coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.

Bellary recorded highest maximum temperature of 40.8 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Sunday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka and mainly dry weather may prevail over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.
