Another grenade attack in Srinagar, 20 wounded
Srinagar, Apr 14 (UNI) At least 20 people, including a 12-year-old child, were wounded in another grenade explosion here today, official sources said.
They said militants hurled a hand grenade on the security forces at Safa Kadal in the downtown area of the city as they were searching vehicles this evening.
The grenade exploded on the road, resulting in injuries to about 20 people, including four Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and three Jammu and Kashmir police personnel, besides the 12-year-old child.
The wounded have been hospitalised.
The banned Jaish-e-Mohammad has claimed the responsibility for the attack.
