Another Bheora accomplice arrested

Kapurthala, Apr 14 (UNI) Police arrested Kulwant Singh, another accomplice of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) activist Paramjit Singh Bheora, from Bhakowal village, near here, today.

Police have already arrested Manjit Singh, his wife Davinder Kaur and Jaswinder Singh, all residents of Rail Coach Factory and Gurcharan Singh, a resident of Phagwara last week for giving shelter to Bheora. Police have also arrested Amanpreet Kaur, wife of Bheora from a village near RCF.

Delhi Police arrested Bheora on March 20 with two others after he escaped from Burail jail in January 2004.

According to Bholath DSP Amrik Singh Powar, Kulwant Singh came in contact with Bheora on May 30 last year, when Bheora visited Baba Deep Singh Gurdwara, Amritsar with Manjit Singh.

The DSP said Manjit introduced Bheora to Kulwant and afterwards Bheora with Jagtar Singh Tara visited his shop at village Nadala and then went to his home at Bhakowal village as Bheora wanted to hire an accommodation there but Kulwant could not arrange it.

Police have registered a case under sections 212,216,124 A, IPC and 120B against Kulwant.
