Talwandi Sabo, Apr 14 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh today regretted the high handedness shown by CBI officials while raiding the houses of IAS officers SC Agarwal and KBS Sidhu.

While talking to newspersons here, he said the CBI has unnecessarily targeted two capable and upright IAS officers of the Punjab Government.

The Chief Minister said the CBI seems to have exceeded its brief as the purpose of the direction of Punjab and Haryana High Court was not to harass innocent upright officers.

The CBI yesterday conducted raids at the Chandigarh residences of the two IAS officers, SC Agarwal and KBS Sidhu, besides two Indian Forest Service officers, Harsh Kumar and Jagjit Singh Samundri as a part of investigations into the Forest Hill Golf Resort case. The raids were also carried out at the resort and the sector 10 residence of its owner Col BS Sandhu (retd).
