9 held for causing nuisance before hotel

Kancheepuram, Apr 14: Nine people were arrested for causing nuisance before a star hotel on the East Coast Road and threatening its staff.

Police here today said the accused started causing trouble after the hotel management refused to pay money demanded by them. They also threatened its general manager with deadly weapons.

Following a complaint, police arrested the culprits, one of whom attacked a constable.
