70 students taken ill

Jalgaon, Apr 14 (UNI) At least 70 students were taken ill after consuming food at a farewell party in J T Mahajan College of Engineering at Saizpur in the district last night, police said today.

All of them were admitted in a private hospital at Savda but they are out of danger, police said, adding a caterer from Busawal had supplied food for the farewell dinner organised for final year students.

Since no complaint has been lodged no case has been registered so far.
