2 killed as lorry overturns

Vijayawada, Apr 14 (UNI) Two persons were killed and two injured when a speeding lorry overturned on the national highway at Krishna Lanka here today.

Police said the mishap occurred when the lorry driver did not notice an APSRTC bus bound to the city from Tenali, coming in the opposite direction.

He swerved the vehicle which hit a Maruti van before turning turtle. The injured were rushed to hospital.
