Vice President Shekhawat mourns death of Raj Kumar

New Delhi, Apr 13 (UNI) Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat today described cine personality Raj Kumar, who died yesterday, as ''an extremely amiable person who endeared himself to all through his innate simplicity and sensitivity.'' In the death of Kumar, the country had lost a distinguished actor and a fine human being, Mr Shekhawat said in a condolence message sent to Kumar's wife Parvathamma.

Recalling Kumar's valuable contribution to South Indian Cinema, he said Raj Kumar had worked with generations of directors and contributed towards the progressive enrichment of the theme.
