SACVL lines up four mega releases for the second half of the year

Mumbai, Apr 13 (UNI) Shree Asthavinayak Cine Vision Limited (SACVL) has lined up four mega releases for the second half of the year with directors like Priyadarshan, Abbas Mastan, David Dhawan and Rohit Shetty and estimates revenue from production and distribution at Rs 125 crore in 2006-07.

Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Chairman and Managing Director Dhilin Mehta said, ''The viewership pattern in recent years has undergone a sea change due to the emergence of different channels of entertainment at the viewers disposal. We recognise this as a driver of growth for the industry and in turn for our company and our ultimate goal is to capitalise on the vertical integration capabilities which cover the entire gamut ranging from production to distribution and further extending it to exhibition.'' Filmstar Govinda is all set to make a comeback in one of their films ''Bhagambhag'' which is a comedy. The film which boasts of a star cast of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Lara Dutta is slated for a December release.

The other three films from Shree Asthavinayak Cine Vision are ''Golmaal'' directed by Rohit Shetty starring Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Tushar Kapoor, Rimi Sen and Paresh Rawal.

The shooting of ''Golmaal'' is almost complete and is slated for a June release.

The other two untitled films under production are to be directed by the renowned duo Abbas-Mastan, are hard core thrillers. The cast of the first film include Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt and Bipasha Basu.

The cast of the other untitled film includes Sanjay Dutt, Aftab Shivdasani, Arshad Warsi and Dino Morea.

Each of these films has a budget of Rs 15 crore and will be among the key films of the forthcoming year the release said.
