No change in Kolkata weather, sultry heat continued
Kolkata, Apr 13 (UNI) Just for a couple of hours when it was partly cloudy today, people in Kolkata thought weather God had finally given in to their wish.
However, the excitement was short lived as the sun came out blazing, even as rain continued to give Bengal the miss for almost six months.
Although temperatures continued to be high today, it was appreciably lower than the 43 degrees celsius, the highest recorded in the city till now last Tuesday.
Met office sources said the maximum temperature was 34.7 degrees celsius while the minimum temperature recorded 27.9 degrees celsius today. The humidity was 85 per cent.
