Ankita to play more international matches, Tania focuses on exam
New Delhi, Apr 13 (UNI) Teenage tennis ace Ankita Bhambri said she would play more international matches to climb up the ranking chart.
''In tennis what matters is your ranking. You are as good as your ranking,'' Ankita told UNI in the launching function of a children's book ''Endless Journey'', written by G S Dutt, here today.
Ankita, currently placed 337 in the world ranking, said she wants to enter the top 200.
Ankita also said playing away-matches would help her develop her game and boost her confidence. ''They will provide great learning opportunities,'' she said.
Meanwhile Tania Sachdev, who was also present at the function said it is studies and her Graduation exam that are the top prorities right now.
