Day temperature high in Orissa, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh and Haryana

Pune, Apr 12 (UNI) Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in north Orissa, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh and in some parts of Haryana, west Rajasthan and of Madhya Maharashtra and were above normal in Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, south Kerala and in some parts of east Uttar Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh and of south Tamil Nadu.

They were below normal in some parts of Jammu and Kashmir, south Gujarat and in remaining parts of west Rajasthan.

They were normal over the rest of country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in West Bengal, Sikkim, Jammu and Kashmir, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

Very heavy rain have occurred at few places in Assam and Meghalaya.

Very light rain have occured at few places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and at isolated places in Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Andman and Nicobar islands and at isolated places in Kerala.
