Union minister urges youth to rally behind Rahul

Kanpur, Apr 11 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Home Sriprakash Jaiswal today appealed to the youth to rally behind Congress MP from Amethi Rahul Gandhi to strengthen the party.

Addressing a two-day 'Yuva Samvad Shivir' here, Mr Jaiswal said youth Congress leaders should be in constant dialogue with the senior party leaders and rally behind Mr Gandhi to strengthen the party in Uttar Pradesh and also in the country.

The former UPCC chief further called upon the YC leaders to start preparing for the next assembly polls in UP.

Congress general secretary in charge for UP and former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, addressing the same function of the YC, asked the young party workers to reach out to masses with the policies and programmes of the UPA government.
