Silent Ganguly slips in and out of Jamshedpur
Jamshedpur, Apr 11(UNI) On a day when stand-in skipper Virender Sehwag talked of looking ahead of life without Sourav Ganguly, the former captain himself made a quiet visit to the steel city and left, unnoticed.
Ganguly arrived here by a Tata Steel flight early this morning.
He met Tate Steel Managing Director B Muthuraman and left a couple of hours later by the same flight. Neither did he make any official call on the team nor visited the venue.
Tata Steel sources told UNI that it was a personal visit, a mere courtesy call after which the former Indian skipper left for Kolkata.
Sehwag today termed the controversy over Sourav Ganguly's exclusion from the team as a '' forgotten chapter''.
