Sachin's coach joins Raj Thackeray's party

Mumbai, Apr 11 (UNI) Ramakant Achrekar, the cricket coach of master blaster Sachin Tendulkar today joined the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) floated by former Shiv Sena leader Raj Thackeray.

Along with Achrekar, noted Marathi actors Atul Parchure and Vinay Yedekar also filled their membership forms at the Shivaji Park Gymkhana here this morning.

Raj Thackeray, his wife Sharmila and sister Jaywanti Abhay Deshpande also filled the membership forms of the new political outfit.

Former Shiv Sena deputy leader Shishir Shinde, who has already joined MNS, filled the membership form too.

Raj in his brief speech appealed to the people to be associated with his party for development of the state.

MNS has set a target of 1.5 crore members in the next 15 days. So far 50 lakh forms have been distributed.
