Randhawa remains top ranked Indian, Mickelsen topples Vijay Singh

New Delhi, Apr 11 (UNI) Jyoti Randhawa continues to remain the highest ranked Indian at 113 with 1.23 average points in the latest Official World Golf Rankings issued today.

Randhawa, who is third on the Asian rankings, is followed by Orlando-based Arjun Atwal at 140.

Atwal, having failed to make the cut in four back-to-back tournaments, has 1.05 average points and is seventh on the Asian rankings.

Shiv Kapur (1.02), who booked himself a place in the British Open last week, is at 146.

The next Indian in the list is Jeev Milkha Singh (0.45) at 319, followed by Gaurav Ghei at 361 with 0.37 average points.

Meanwhile, Tiger Woods entered his 386th week at the top of the rankings with 18.13 average points and his closest challenger now is Phil Mickelsen after the latter's victory at Augusta Nationals yesterday.

Mickelsen (10.17) has replaced Fijian Vijay Singh, who now has 8.75 average points, at the second spot. South Africans Retief Goosen and Ernie Els are fourth and fifth respectively.
