Premium Intellipower launches geared motor

Aurangabad, (Maharashtra), Apr 11 (UNI) Premium Energy Transmission Ltd, a Greaves Group company, today launched Premium-Intellipower geared motors in a strategic tie up with Pujol Muntala of Spain.

Company Managing Director D Ramesh Kumar said, ''Geared motor will offer less energy consumption compared to the existing motors manufactured by the company and aims to cater to the demand of pharma and agro-based food proocessing industries.'' Mr Kumar said thatthe need of the hour was to shift to newer technology to make a global presence. And the motors would be manufactured at ts Aurangabad plant.

According to him, the present worm motor, being manufactured by the company is likely to be phased out by customer-driven demand in the period of next 10 years.

With the launch of the new generation geared motor, the company is ready to take on competitors and intends to be at number two position in the next three years, he said.

The Pujol Muntala, one of the world class leaders in geared motors, automated door operating systems and wind power transmissions, would offer technology and buyback support in the tie up, he added.

According to Mr Kumar, the company is expected to invest Rs 18 crore during the next three years taking the production value of geared motors to Rs 80 crore.
