People can contact Dy CM and Commercial Tax dept through website

Patna, Apr 11 (UNI) The Bihar government has launched a website to allow people to directly contact and express their grievances to Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi and Comercial Tax Department.

Launching the website at the state secratariat yesterday, Mr Modi told reporters that Bihar would be availing this new-age facility and a provision of Rs 15 crore had been allocated in the budget for computerisation of the departments.

He said Rs 48 crore had been earmarked for e-governance projects.

People could directly lodge complaints in the grievance cell of the Deputy Chief Minister's website, he said adding that action would be taken against all grievances with proper response to the complainant.

Mr Modi said all important information regarding Value Added Tax (VAT) and other circulars would be uploaded on the website of commercial taxes department.
