Major markets closed on account of Mahavir Jayanti

Mumbai, Apr 11 (UNI) Trading in major markets like Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), National Stock Exchange (NSE), RBI, Forex, Call Money market, and future and spot business in wholesale essential commodities including sugar, edible oil, cotton and metal remained officially closed on account of Mahavir Jayanti and Eid-e-Milad today, traders said.

However, spot bullion trading was open as usual, traders added.
