IGATE reports 10 per cent growth in revenue
New Delhi, Apr 11: iGATE Global Solutions (iGATE) today reported a 10 per cent growth in its revenues at Rs 636 crore, and an 89 per cent jump in operating profit at Rs 61.4 crore, for the fourth quarter ended 31 March, 2006.
The company also plans to wind up its existing operations at Wuxi and set up its new facility at Dalian in China.
Dalian is attracting a large amount of foreign investment and is a base to Several IT companies, particularly focusing on the Japanese market.
iGATE's revenue was Rs 580 crore in the previous year, while operating profit was Rs 32.5 crore.
''The past year saw us acquiring a promising list of Fortune 1000 clients, who will drive our revenues. There is a growing optimism about the order pipeline and we are on the path of growth and predictability of revenues,'' iGATE Global Solutions CEO Phaneesh Murthy said while commenting on the results.
iGATE Global Solutions is the first fully integrated technology and operations firm with a global services model and its services include consulting, IT Services, Data Analytics, Enterprise Systems, BPO/BSP, Contact Center and Infrastructure Management Services.
