Dodsal group bags USD 951 million contract from Qatar Petroleum
Mumbai, Apr 11 (UNI) The Dodsal group has bagged a USD 951 million contract, including long-lead items, from the state-owned Qatar Petroleum, for engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning of common cooling seawater system Phase-II at Ras Laffan in Qatar.
A release issued here today stated that the order is among the largest EPC contracts by Qatar Petroleum besides being the highest so far in Dodsal's portfolio of EPC works.
The common cooling seawater system to be commissioned by Dodsal at Ras Laffan will cater to the needs of LNG trains at Qatar Gas and Ras Gas besides suplying seawater to Q Power to be used for cooling and desalination.
With this EPC contract, the Dodsal group's order book is expected to cross approximately USD two billion besides strengthening the company's presence in the region and diversifying its portfolio of projects, stated the release.
