AP has slight respite from heat
Hyderabad, Apr 11 (UNI) The people of Andhra Pradesh had some respite from the oppressive heat as the mercury dipped by two to three degrees C today.
Maximum temperatures fell at a few places over Telangana and at one or two placec over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema, Meterological Centre Director G Sudhakar Rao told UNI. He attributed the slight fall to change in wind pattern. The hot north-westerly winds had stoppped and cool winds were blowing from south-easterly direction, he added.
The highest maximum temperature of 41 degrees Celsius was recorded at Adilabad,Anantapur and Nizamabad.
Heat wave conditions were unlikely in the next two days, he said, adding that thunderclouds were likely to develop during evenings.
