Uttaranchal will become number one: Tiwari
Dehradun, Apr 10 (UNI) Chief Minister N D Tiwari, urging the youth to contribute in nation building by working under the Congress banner, today said his government will make Uttaranchal the number one state in the country without imposing any new taxes.
Addressing the ''prerna rally'' organised by the youth wing of the party, the Chief Minister asked youth Congress members to take the country and the state towards height of development. The rally came to an end today after three months of its start.

It is this party which launched a struggle against the British empire.'' He said Congress is always dedicated towards the country's development, he said.
State Congress President Harish Rawat said the forthcoming Assembly election in the state would be won on the strength of youth power. ''Uttaranchal will be represented by the youth in future,'' he said adding that youth power was an effective tool in making the dreams of the people come true.
