Three drown in separate incidents in Palakkad district

Palakkad, Apr 10 (UNI) Three people drowned in separate incidents in the district yesterday.

Saumya(14) and Sauganth(12), children of Ravindran of Saibaba Colony in Coimbatore, drowned in the Gayatri river at Alathur while taking bath.

They were staying with a relative at Kavassery, near Alathur, in connection with a temple festival.

In the other incident, Prakash(27) from Kanavaipalayam, near Mettuppalayam, drowned while taking bath in the Siruvani river at Agali.
