Son murders father

Balasore, Orissa, Apr 10 (UNI) A twenty-year-old youth allegedly stabbed to death his father at Samalpur village near here, police said.

The youth, a motor mechanic, demanded money from his father to open a garage. As the father failed to meet the demand, the son attacked him with a sharp weapon on Friday. The sixty-year-old person died on the spot, sources said.

A case of murder has been registered with the Industrial Police station while the body has been sent for postmortem. The son was absconding, sources added.
