Salman jailed; mother hospitalised

Mumbai, Apr 10 (UNI) Hours after a Jodhpur court sentenced Bollywood actor Salman Khan to five years jail in a black buck poaching case, his mother Salma suffered a heart attack here this evening and has been hospitalised.

Salman's lawyer Dipesh Mehta, while confirming her hospitalisation, however, said '' She is alright .... nothing to worry''.

Mrs Salma Khan was admitted to Lilavati hospital in suburban Bandra this evening.

Jodhpur Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Brijendra Kumar Jain today senteneced Salman to the jail term and fined him Rs 25,000 after finding him guilty in the Chinkara killing case under Section 51 of the Wildlife Protection Act.
