New Delhi, Apr 10 (UNI) Police have arrested one more person in connection with the alleged phone tapping episode, triggered by the allegation of Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh.

Rajiv Garg (40), a businessman from Haryana, was arrested yesterday by the Special Cell sleuths, said a senior police official.

He had got the phone of one of his business associates tapped with the help of Navneet Sharma, who was arrested recently.

Navneet, who had connections with prime accused Kuldip in the alleged phone tapping of Amar Singh, had been arrested on April 4 along with his associate Nitin (on April 6).

Both after arrest had said they had been tapping phones at the behest of one Rajiv Garg.

With this arrest, the total number of arrests made so far in connection with the alleged phone tapping of Amar Singh case has gone up to seven.

Meanwhile, five accused in the case -- Vijay Dhawan, Kuldeep, Navneet and Nitin -- have now been sent to Judicial custody till April 24.
