Occultist, disciple arrested for mutilating boy's corpse

Jaunpur, Apr 10 (UNI) An occultist and his disciple were today arrested for allegedly mutilating a boy's corpse for black magic rituals under Panwara area of the district.

Police superintendent Abhay Kumar Prasad said Brijwasi Mishra and his disciple Vikas Mishra had dug out the body from a field last month for occult practice.

The corpse was decapitated by them and the skull later buried in the field of Ram Kripal Yadav.

The incident came to light after Yadav found the skull, while ploughing his farm. He informed the cops and the duo fell into the dragnet following investigations. They had been sent to jail.

Meanwhile, Mr Prasad announced a reward of Rs 2,500 to the police team that nabbed the two accused.
