Mobilepholne network of terrorists busted, two arrested
Jammu, Apr 10 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police has busted a mobiletelephone network of Pakistan based terrorist outfit Hizbul Mujahideen Pir Panjal Regiment (HMPPR) and arrested two militants of the outfit including a government teacher in rajouri.
Official sources disclosed that police has seized four mobile telephones with bsnl sim cards. One cellphone was being used by district commander of outfit. The four HMPPR militants were arrested last week.
The mobile communication network have been used by financial commander Aijaz Ahmed Zakki, an advocate-cum-sarpanch of Leeran, Darhal to stay in touch with outfits district commander Abdullah Inqullabi, the sources added.
The sources said, an official letter has been sent to the BSNL authorities in chandigarh for the details of conversation carried out through the mobile telephones, which may likely expose many more contacts of the militants.
Zakki, who had surrendered before rajouri police last week, was using the first cellphone while farooq ahmed, a phe works supervisor, who was also a top militant of HMPPR and brother-in-law ofZakki, was in possession of second mobilephone. Master Mohammad Aslam, a government teacher was using the third cellphone.
Two more militants, who have been arrested by the police for their links with Abdullah Inqullabi and Aijaz Aahmed Zakki, have been identified as Mohd Alam, a government teacher and Nazir Hussain Khaki. Khaki was using the fourth mobile phone.
