MLA promises Metro Rail experience for commuters

Hyderabad, Apr 10 (UNI) Khairatabad Congress MLA P Janardhana Reddy today said the Metro Rail project will be taken up at a cost of Rs 7,000 crore on three different routes in the city.

Speaking to mediapersons here while participating in several public functions in the city, he said in New Delhi around nine lakh commuters depended on Metro Rail for commuting during peak hours.

He said the project will augment the transport facilities in the city.

Mr Reddy said the third phase of Krishna Water Supply Scheme will be taken up after the Kirloskar Committee report was examined by the government.
