New Delhi, Apr 10 (UNI) Launching a sharp attack on the Mulayam Singh Yadav Government for the ''deteriorating law and order'' in Uttar Pradesh, Bahujan Samaj Partry(BSP) chief Mayawati today urged the Centre to take a serious note of the situation and dismiss the Samajwadi Party-led Government.

''The state governor should report to the Centre about the critical situation in the state, and the Centre should act on it'' Ms Maywati told reporters here.

The former state chief minister said crime incidents were on the rise and the communal trouble was spreading all over the state.

''There was a terrorist attack in a Varanasi temple. There were communal riots in Mau, then in Lucknow and now in Aligarh. Such a government which has completely lost its hold on the state should be driven out of power,'' she said.

Today, life and property of citizens were not safe. There were kidnappings, shootings, dacoit and assault on women--a sitution which called immediate attention of the Centre, she added.
