Jharkhand Youth Body burns effigies of Chappell and More

Jamshedpur, Apr 10 (UNI) After Guwahati it is the turn of Sourav fans in the steel city to spew venom against Team India coach Greg Chappell and selection committee chairman Kiran More.

Jharkhand Banglabhasi Yuva Samity (JBYS) today burnt the effigies of Chappell and More at Sakchi area for the duo's alleged role in keeping out Sourav from the national squad.

The domonstration was led by the chief convenor of JBYS Debojit Mukherjee. Hundreds of supporters shouted slogans against Chappell and More and demanded immediate inclusion of former captain in the team.

Mukherjee said, ''We will continue to protest against the duo till Sourav is brought back in the team. The members of the Samity will also show placards like 'Go back Chappell, bring back Sourav' during the match on April 12.'' He said injustice was meted out against the southpaw and Sourav became the victim of BCCI politics.

Meanwhile, another organisation Bangla Bhasa Ekota Manch had also come out in support of Sourav and decided to stage demonstrations agasint Chapell and More during the match.
