India eves lose 0-14 to N Korea, out of AFC U-19 football tourney

Kuala Lumpur, Apr 10 (UNI) India slumped to their second successive defeat as they suffered a humiliating 0-14 drubbing at the hands of North Korea today to bow out of the the AFC U-19 Women's football championship here.

In their first Group A match, India were handed a 11-0 thrashing by holders South Korea on April 10.

With today's loss, India are at the bottom of the table in the group without opening their account. Two teams from the group will make it to the semifinals in the eight-nation tournament.

India play their last group match against Japan on April 12.
