Independent candidate withdraws nomination

Bhopal, Apr 10 (UNI) Altogether 16 aspirants were left in the fray following the withdrawal of an independent candidate on the last day of withdrawal of nominations today for the assembly bypoll to Budhni assembly constituency.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is seeking entry into the assembly from Budhni, while those left in the fray included Congress Rajkumar Patel, SP's Narbada Prasad and GGP's Gurkam Singh Markam.

District Election Officer S K Mishra said independent candidate B L Burman pulled out of the fray today.
