Ghani Khan Chowdhury remains critical

Kolkata, Apr 10 (UNI) The condition of veteran Congress leader A B A Ghani Khan Chowdhury, who is on life support system, remained critical today.

''Mr Khan Choudhury is suffering from acute Pancreatitis and multi-organ system dysfunction,'' nursing home sources said, adding the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) team, which arrived today, had also confirmed the diagnosis.

''His condition remains critical though there is no further deterioration,'' the sources said.

The former Railways Minister was admitted to the nursing home on April three following abdominal pain.
