CPWD engineer arrested for defrauding youth on promise of employment
New Delhi, Apr 10 (UNI) The Delhi police today arrested a CPWD engineer for cheating several unemployed youth under the pretext of providing them jobs in the Merchant Navy.
Fifty-one year-old Keshari Singh, working in the CPWD as an assistant engineer, was arrested by the police from the Ashok nagar area following a complaint by eight youth that he had cheated them of Rs 2,40,000 to rs 2,80,000 on the pretext of rpoviding them a job in the Merchant Navy but had failed to provide them a job.
Keshari Singh, who had been running the racket since 2003, had earned more than Rs 30 lakh from the gullible youth.
