Congress hopes for good show in Assembly polls

New Delhi, Apr 10: The Congress today expressed the confidence that it would form a Government in Asom and the party and its allies would do exceptionally well in the other States going to the Assembly elections.

Congress Spokesperson Jayanti Natrajan told reporters here that the party had been getting the internal party reports which spoke of the Congress and its allies being favourably placed in the election-going States.

The BJP, Ms Natrajan said ,had lost all the relevance as it lacked the basic vision to perform as a constructive and responsible opposition.Instead of highlighting issues of public importance it had chosen to go on Yatras which would only help divide the society.
