Chettinad Cement Corpn acquires 2 cos owning limestone lands

Mumbai, Apr 10 (UNI) Chettinad Cement Corporation Ltd today said that the company has acquired the entire Equity Share Capital of two unlisted Companies-- M/s Sabari Cements (Chennai) Ltd and M/s High-Tech Lime Products Ltd-- to acquiring control over the limestone bearing lands owned by them The deal does not result in acquisition of any new business activity or additional production capacity as the two companies are not engaged in any business activities and their assets mainly consist of limestone bearing Lands, a company release said.
