Bangalore, Apr 10 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office here at 0830 hrs today.

Rainfall occurred at isolated places over the state.

Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Alur 2; Sakleshpura, Bandipura 1 each.

Maximum temperatures changed little over the state. They were above normal at most places being appreciably so at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and above normal ata few places over coastal karnataka and south interior karnataka.

Gulbarga recorded highest maximum temperature of 42 degree celsius over the state Forecast valid until Wednesday morning:Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over south interior karnataka and mainly dry weather may prevail over coastal karnataka and north interior karnataka.

Forecast for farmers:Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over Mysore, Chamarajanagar, Chikmagalur, Hassan and Kodagu districts of south interior karnataka and mainly dry weather may prevail over all districts of coastal karnataka and north interior karnataka and remaining districts of south interior karnataka.

Forecast for Bangalore:Partly cloudy. Maximum temperature would be around 34 degrees celsius.
