Acccused escaped from police custody in Orissa

Balasore, Apr 10 (UNI) One person, arrested on Saturday on charges of bike box breaking and looting cash, escaped from police custody today.

Official sources said the accused escaped from the escort custody while he was being brought from a court after his bail plea was rejected by the Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate.

The accused, identified as Sanjay Singh Yadav (24) of Gayatulla under Korah police station of Bihar, allegedly broke the box of a two-wheeler of a local scribe on Saturday night. He was caught after a hot chase, while his accomplice escaped.
