ABG Shipyard bags repeat orders of Rs 270 cr from Sea Tankers Mgmt.

Mumbai, Apr 10 (UNI) ABG Shipyard Ltd has bagged a prestigious repeat order of about Rs 270 crore for construction of 6 anchor handling tug vessels each at a price of USD 9.99 million aggregating USD 59.94 million from Sea Tankers Management Company Ltd, a part of John Fredriksens Group, one of the largest ship owners in the world.

Announcing the order, the company said the 6 vessels will be delivered at an interval of 3 months each beginning from December 2007 and ending March 2009.

With this repeat order for 6 more vessels from Sea Tankers, the company has orders for total 12 vessels from them.

With the receipt of the new order aggregating about Rs 270 crore, the company's aggregate of orders in hand has moved up to Rs 2204 crore.
