350 gm brown sugar seized, one held

Shajapur, MP, Apr 10 (UNI) A drug peddler has been arrested with 350 grams of brown sugar, worth Rs 35 lakh in international market, in this district's Badaud area, police said today.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Asha Mathur said, the accused, Gopal, was frisked last night based on suspicion during intensive checking in the area bordering Rajasthan and brown sugar was seized from him.

The accused has been arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
