12-member Indian junior volleyball team for Italy event announced

New Delhi, Apr 10 (UNI) Gurpreet Singh (Haryana) will lead a 12-member Indian junior volleyball team in the 24th Memorial Ferruccio Cornacchia tournament to be held in San Giorgio Di Porcia in Italy from April 14 to 17.

Germany, USA, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, UK, Brazil, Romania, Hungary, Belgium, Luxemburg, San Marino and Algeria are also expected to participate in the tournament, a Volleyball Federation of India release said here today.

The Team: Gurpreet Singh (captain), Ukkra Pandian, G Pradeep, Sube Singh, Gurbinder Singh, K Karthikeyan, Mandeep Singh, Gurchand Singh, Prithviraj, Gurinder Singh, Sudarshana Varma and B Sathish.
