State government to fill up vacancies in phased manner

Gulbarga, Apr 09(UNI) The state government would fill the teaching posts remaining vacant at its educational institutions in phased manner, the higher education minister Mr D H Shankara Murthy informed here today.

Speaking to newsmen here today the minister has said that the teaching posts including lecturers are remain vacant at many government educational institutions including professional colleges for long and the present government has decided to fill it in phased manner.

He also said that the state government has constituted a committee to recommend the names to be appointed as the vice chancellor of the Gulbarga university. He said that the education institutions should impart quality education and become self reliant without depandend the government for funds to sustain on themselves.
