Hyderabad, Apr 8 (UNI) Ratan N Tata, Chairman of Tata Sons Limited, today advised Graduates of the Indian School of Business at the 'Graduation Class of 2006,' to think about the 600 or 700 million people living in rural areas and do their bit, however small, for their amelioration.

Addressing the graduates to whom he handed over certificates, Tata said the graduates should "work in a principled manner" and with values. ''The country needs your leadership. You will be the leaders of the country. Demonstrate leadership qualities'' he told the new graduates.

He congratulated the graduates as they were coming out of the school when India was being seen as a country moving on.

He said "due to our inability to look into future, we have become followers and not leaders so far".

He said one has to work with conviction and determination if one is to succeed.

Assuring that the young graduates would have an exhilerating life among the business community, he implored them to leave their mark not only among their colleagues but also on the future generations.
