No bickering in Haryana Congress, says Deputy Chief Minister

Chandigarh, Apr 9 (UNI) Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Chander Mohan today said that there was no internal bickering in the Congress and all the leaders of the party were working round the clock to make the state a leading one in the country in the next five years.

Mr Chander Mohan, eldest son of Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee President Bhajan Lal, was speaking at the annual prize distribution function 'Azaro-2006' of Haryana Engineering College, Jagadhri.

He said in order to achieve the wish of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to make Haryana a number one state in the country, state Chief Minister was making all possible efforts to implement the welfare policies and achieve new heights of development in sphere of life.

New avenues of employment would open for the youths after the announcement of the Labour and Industrial Policies of the state Government, he added He urged the youths not to run after white collared jobs but to start their own ventures and give employment to others also.

The Deputy Chief Minister assured the farmers that as in the previous year, this year also the state government would purchase every grain of wheat produced by them at the minimum support price.

He said that their payment would be made within 72 hours.
