Maoists threaten FB leader to boycott vote
Purulia, Apr 9 (UNI) Police today recovered two posters of the Maoists threatening a local Forward Block leader with dire consequences and directing him to stay away from the coming assembly polls at Sirkabad here.
The Forward Block candidate, Prabhat Mahato, is fighting the polls from Arsha assembly constituency in the first phase of the elections in West Bengal on April 17..
Superintendent of Police R Shivkumar said they would inquire into the matter.
Police have also appointed a special security personnel for Mr Mahato.
