Man kills sister-in-law, two nephews in UP

Muzaffarnagar, Apr 9 (UNI) A man allegedly shot dead his sister-in- law and two nephews, besides injuring his brother over a tubewell dispute in the Shahpur area here today.

Police said here that Omnath first shot at and injured his brother Lokesh at a temple in the Nirmani village. Later Omnath's wife and two daughters attacked and injured Lokesh's wife Pravesh and her two sons Monu and Chote. On reaching the spot, Omnath shot dead his injured sister-in-law and two nephews.

An old dispute between the two families over a tubewell was suspected to be the cause of the crime, police added.

Senior police officials have reached the spot and a manhunt launched to nab Omnath alongwith family.
