John Abraham admitted to hospital with fractured leg

Mumbai, Apr 9: Actor John Abraham was been admitted to Leelavati Hospital at Bandra early this morning with a fractured leg.

John was speeding on his Yamaha motorbike at suburban Khar in Northwest Mumbai at 0230 hrs when two boys on a cycle were approaching from the opposite direction near the turning of 16th Road at Khar, police said.

To prevent banging into the boys, he fell off his bike fracturing his leg in the attempt. Meanwhile, the boys sustained minor injuries but were not hospitalised, police added.

The actor, who is recuperating at the hospital where he was earlier admitted for typhoid three months ago, has been booked for negligent driving.

John, a former model, shot into fame with his negative role in the Bollywood movie 'Dhoom', which showed him drving fast bikes.
