New Delhi, Apr 9 (UNI) The five-day Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, concluded tonight with the appearance of Bollywood siren Bipasha Basu on the ramps while the fear of any probable wardrobe malfunction kept the designers as well as models on their toes.

Bipasha Basu was a goddess of desire for the WLIFW, which had chosen her to wrap up the Wills Lifestyle Grand Finale showcasing the collection of Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna along with Monisha Jaising.

Though the presence of Bollywood means a lot for the business of fashion, designers say it is not required to sell a garment but for the ''wow'' factor.

The much-awaited fashion event of the year, inaugurated by Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath on Wednesday, witnessed the participation of 80 top designers along with 10 debutants including Ayesha Depala, Earthy Myths' Sucheta Merh, Gaurav Gupta, Jatin Varma, Karuna Khaitan, Manav Gangwani, Priya Awasthy, Puja Arya, Siddartha Tytler and Gunjan and Rahul.

The list of models comprised 33 top models along with 26 new faces including two former Miss India winners --Sindhura Gadde and Nikita Anand. Other debutants were Priyanka Shah, Shruti Agrawal, Mashoom Singha, Sanjukta Das, Ester Jamir, Manasvi Mamgai, Arti Sharma, Sucheta Sharma, Vaishali Ramaswamy, Shreya Bhardawaj, Rachel Maria Bayros, Bojana Draskovic, Ivana Milanovic, Pawan Setpal, Prashantraj Sachdeva, Adam Bedi, Sahil Shroff, Rahul Arya, Navneet Sharma, Tejan Yadav, Gurmeher Singh, Kanwar Gill and Amita Setia.

This year, the fashion week had undergone many changes apart from having two ramps for the event. The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) had tied up with the Montana World of Wearable Art (WOW) while Wills Lifestyle had been chosen the official title sponsor partner for the event in the place of last year's Lakme.

WOW is one of the most coveted fashion extravaganzas in the world, held each year in New Zealand for last 16 years.

The PDM (Percept D' Mark) of the FDCI had engaged ''S2'', one of the leading British companies specialising in live events, for the fashion week.

Last week, during the Mumbai version of the gala fashion event, sponsored by Lakme, two instances of wardrobe malfunction made headlines.
